A manufacturer site with a dealer locator and distributor portal
A Craft CMS site for an equipment manufacturer: product catalog, manuals and literature, a territory-aware dealer locator, and a login-gated portal for distributors.

Overview
Customers, dealers and distributors all need something different.
Buyers look for products and the nearest dealer. Owners look for manuals. Distributors need price, repair and marketing material that shouldn't be public. One site serves all three.
Our agency partner researched and reorganized the content and brought us wireframes. Together we defined the content blocks, the shape of the data behind them and the page templates. We built all of it in Craft CMS.
The Challenge
Hundreds of products, and the information about them didn't match.
The old site had grown without a plan, and its content was hard to find and hard to maintain.
The bigger problem was the product line: hundreds of products across many categories, and the information available for each one wasn't consistent. The new site had to present every product the same way anyway.
Our Solution
One CMS, three audiences.
Every product shares a core set of fields, and each category adds the fields that only it needs. Sections that have nothing to show hide themselves, so a product with less information still looks complete. We cleaned up the existing data as it came in.
Editors build pages from a block library: product galleries, manual filters, flipbook literature, brochure grids, trade-show and careers lists, and more.
The where-to-buy search takes a territory and a ZIP or postal code, then finds the ten closest dealers in that territory, ordered by distance. The team manages dealers and their territories in the CMS.
Distributors sign in to a protected section of the same site, with its own navigation and pages the team manages alongside everything else.
The Results
A site the manufacturer runs itself.
Their team now maintains the site on their own: adding and editing products, keeping dealers and territories current, and building new pages from the block library without calling a developer.
Every product reads the same way, whatever data was behind it.
